About Quewy

Quewy is a virtual queue for barbershops and salons. Your walk-in clients join the queue from their phone, see exactly how long the wait is, and turn up when it’s nearly their turn — no crowded waiting room, no walking out at the sight of a full bench. Fixed appointments keep running alongside, untouched.

We built Quewy after watching the same pattern in shop after shop: dead mid-mornings, slammed late afternoons, and good customers lost to a queue they couldn’t see. A client walks in, sees six people on the bench, and quietly walks back out — and the shop never even knows it happened. The queue is the product; everything else stays exactly how you already work.

What Quewy actually does

Instead of a physical waiting room, clients scan a QR code or open a link and join the queue from wherever they are — the café next door, their car, the sofa at home. They can see their real place in line and a live wait estimate, so they turn up when it’s nearly their turn rather than sitting around. When they’re next, an SMS goes out. For appointment-led salons, booked slots run on the same screen as walk-ins, so colour and processing time never collide with someone who wandered in off the street.

Why it’s different

Quewy isn’t a booking platform and it isn’t trying to replace your calendar, your card machine, or the POS you already trust. Most tools ask a shop to move its whole operation onto them; Quewy does one thing — the queue — and fits around the rest. There are no per-client fees and no long lock-in contracts. Pricing is flat and transparent, starting at £15/month for early adopters who join before public launch.
